Battle of the Batteries Event – Sept 26th 2018

The next wave of the Energy Transition has begun.  Grid scale energy storage.  The big battery in South Australia is reshaping the electricity market.  Lithium ion technology is leading the way however flow battery technology has an important role to play.

For our Grid Battery Event in September Lachlan Blackhall from ANU in Canberra will represent Lithium ion and go up against Colin Gillam from RedT, fighting the flow battery case.  We expect a fierce debate as explore the costs and benefits of grid battery technology and the impact on the energy mix now and into the future.
